Mr. Wendt has helped many startup companies file patents in “green” technologies, including direct air capture and sequestration of carbon dioxide, geothermal energy, and other endeavors where traditional chemical engineering principles are adapted to solve today’s climate change issues. Mr. Wendt is experience in gaining approval of US patent applications to participate in various initiatives of the US Patent & Trademark Office on behalf of clients to speed the examination of patent applications.
In the medical device field, Mr. Wendt helped Slow Wave, Inc., based in Spicewood, Texas, and its owner Wayne Wagner build a portfolio of US patents on oral devices used for treating bruxism, sleep apnea, and/or nasal draining issues, and mouthguards for sports and other end uses.
